Premier Ship Models trades both through the internet and at shows.
The company started trading in 2000, with the first web site launched in 2001. This makes us one of the longest running specialist ship model company, and is evidenced by the amount of customer references.
We are based in the UK, and a registered limited company (registration number 4208528). Additionally, we are VAT registered (registration number is 01305396).
We are also members of the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) and the British Marine Federation (BMF).
Until we receive your confirmation, your card is not charged.
Our prices are very competitive and we are one of handful of companies that publish our prices on the web site. The only “complaint” we have had is that our prices may be too cheap, for the craftsmanship and quality of models that we offer!
We also offer our corporate clients the facility to work within their existing budget, and perhaps more importantly timelines.
Any model of any yacht, boat or ship to any size and level of detail at the most competitive price. We will beat any other quote for custom work by at least 5%.

Peace of mind on your order
For telphone and email orders, we raise an invoice, which is sent to you for confirmation, before processing.
Until we receive your confirmation, your card is not charged.
For online orders, our website calculates the total value of your order before you submit your order.
For models out of tsock, we only require 50% deposit, with the balance when your model ship is ready.
Customer Service
Our clients are loyal due to our friendly and professional services. We have applied a combined total of twenty years in the professional sector to our ship modelling business. We never commit to an order for model ships we cannot deliver, and provide up-to-date progress of the order, with professional pictures as and when required.
As a company, we can offer you the personal service that we believe is essential to long term relationships with our clients. Many of our clients are repeat clients.

Ship Model Quality
From our clients feedback, the quality of our ship models are second to none in our Gold, Platinum and Custom Range. Our Quality Control Director, checks every model ship whilst they being made and prior to shipment.
Which means your ship model comes to you having been through the strictest quality control.
Please Note: All ship models in our Gold, Platinum and Custom Range are built scratch built using Plank on Frame (teak wood) craftsmanship, as the ships would have been made in history's 'bygone era'.
The sails are made from cotton with detailed rigging, the latter being to an exceptionally high quality.
We believe our customer references are the best judge of our quality, and second to none in our business.

We also offer a price guarantee across our entire range of ship models "If you find the same ship model elsewhere for less, we will beat their price by 5%".

Ship Model Range
We aim to give our customers the widest possible choice of model ships, at a price to suit all budgets.
As of June 2006, we offer a range of about 350 different model ships from bygone era's, classic model boats, modern yachts, model boat kits and radio control boats.
We honestly believe no other wholesaler or retailer offers as wide a range of model ships and boats as we do.
Our Pledge
This has now become a critical element of our business and one of our strongest selling point. We offer a professional bespoke service backed by unique custom build process which gives our clients the confidence of choosing us over our competitors. This includes amongst other things a Client Specification Document (CSD), professional photographs whilst their models are being built, final payment only on client approval etc.
