We first commissioned Premier Ship Models in early 2004 for a very urgent delivery on custom making ship models of the Batavia and San Felipe Galleons. This then increased to additional orders for a further two model historical model ships of the Borobodur and Perahu vessels and lastly, late in 2004, a Singalese model sailing boat.
The entire project continued to undego many design changes and even resulted in the change of size/scale of the model ship Batavia. All accommodated without problem by PSM. They worked very professionally and did significant research on the later commissioned model ships as our client had little information on these historical ships.
Constant delays and our clients change of mind on needs, finishing, ageing of the model ships etc added complexities to already difficult tasks, but in the end we received on time very excellent wooden ship models, highly detailed and fine finishing. The shipping and packing was excellent, and all five ship models received after a near 3 week journey by sea were without damage.
We found Rashid and his staffs' service to be very helpful, timely and professional in every respect. We will and hope to use them again on other projects and further commissions for this Museum as it expands and creates new displays. The general quality, service and reliability has proved its worth in using them over less expensive options, but in saying that we still find them to be highly competitive and value for money. We would recommend them to any other prospective client for the provision of high quality maritime ship models.
Best Regards, Clive Miners, Director.
Re: Seven Ship Models, Aquila Airways, La Normandie, Caravel,
When confronted with two projects for the BBC 'Ancestors' both requiring detailed model ships, and both with a tight budget and limited timescale, I was initially at a loss. Fortunately a quick search on the web introduced the BBC to Premier Ship Models.
Having met with Rashid to discuss my requirements, objectives and timescales, I was sincerely astonished with both his enthusiasm and the detailed quality of his company's ship models.
Despite an almost impossible schedule, his extraordinary team of craftsfolk managed to deliver ‘2 x 8 feet' ship models of the HMS Beagle and HMS Bellona -on time and more importantly on budget!!
I greatly look forward to working with the team of true professionals on another project very shortly.
The ship models are exceptional, everyone just loves them, floating in the air. Merima (Finnish company) Marine Interior Solutions commissioned twenty ship models at 1.5 metres long each, to be hung from the ceiling of a new Cruise Liner ‘Miracle’ for the Caribbean Cruise Line company.
It was a long time in coming, but our ship arrived
yesterday. It looks great on our mantle. Wonderful job.
There was only one paint chip on the base. Please mail us a small bottle of the BLACK paint to touch up this spot. We want to make sure we have the right color.
Thank you.

Still thinking about the Nina and Pinta – what’s the best price you could do for me if I ordered both?
Best wishes
And thank you for the speedy and friendly service, it's much appreciated.
I just wanted to thank you for all your help with my requests on the Victory. Yesterday we placed an order for the Corel model. It is interesting that for me to purchase this model in Australia would have cost over $800 Australian which is almost $150 more expensive than the purchase from you. Once again thank you for your help and prompt attention.
Regards
An excellent price-value relation.
I am highly interested in the San Felipe Platinum smaller. 79 cm length.
in your special offers you write, that shipping is free and there will be a 10 % discount on it. Is this still true ?
And besides that, did you sell the acryl-boxes for the ships without the ships too ?
Please send me an offer for the San Felipe.
Thank you for your efforts and have a nice day
Many greetings
Ferdinand Kürmaier interested in San Felipe( Platinum (Germany Jan 07)
Thank you again!
The model arrived safely today. What can I say - it is absolutely fantastic !
The standard of craftmanship is superb. Please pass on my thanks and gratitude to all concerned. Every part of the ship, from the rigging to the keel, is perfectly detailed and a delight to behold.
Presently the ship is the centrepiece of my dining table where I intend to keep her over the Xmas season so that as many people as possible can see her.
I would have no hesitation in recommending your company and it's fine products to anyone thinking of buying - friendly staff, skilled workmanship and great packaging and delivery.
Please let me wish you all the compliments of the season and continued success for 2007.
Sorry, completely forgot to
write to say we have received the model.
Everything in one piece and
very much to our approval,
Best regards, Anita
The Fed Ex tracking predicted redelivery for 10:30 on 9/1, so I came home from work in the hopes of intercepting the package. It arrived at exactly 10:30!
Haven't opened it as I have to return to work, but the Fed Ex driver complimented you on your packaging. He was particularly taken with the outside bubble wrap cushioning the contents.
Thanks.
Thanks for all your help
May I ask you one question before you begin construction? I see that you offer the same model, for the same price, in a “painted” series and I have opted for the partially painted series. In your professional opinion what do you think looks the best? Perhaps that is an unfair question to ask since I am sure that both are magnificent but I really grappled with this decision and if you leaned towards the painted model I would make that small change to my order.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Happy Holidays!
Mr Lee Roehrdans Buyer of HMS Surprise Model and HMS Surprise Cross Section (USA July 06)
The HMS Surprise model and cross-section model arrived last night and are absolutely beautiful! Perfect timing too with the holidays just around the corner. All the changes I requested are there and just as I pictured them. Having both the ship model and the cross section model was definitely a good choice and the cross-section looks fantastic. I have already spent several hours gazing at both models! Thank you for all the work and making all the requested changes. This has been a very pleasant experience and I look forward to working with you again. Please convey my gratitude to all those involved with my models - I truly appreciate all the work and effort.
I am currently finishing the Alexander Kent series and about to re-read the Patrick O'Brian series. I am sure I'll be spending a lot of time looking at the Surprise while reading about her!
Happy Holidays!
Sorry I haven’t got back to you sooner. It’s been madly busy at work.
I’m delighted with the Santa Maria ship model – it looks really great.
Again many thanks for the splendid work on the Santa Maria.
Best wishes, David - UK Buyer of Santa Maria model ship (May 2006)
Received the model today- perfectly in tact.
Very pleased with the quality.
