RESTORATION OF MODEL SHIPS

Here at Premier Ship Models we have a breadth of experience in restoring old model ships, or those that have been damaged or tased in some way.

We have carried out restoration work on display model ships around the world – in museums, offices, boat clubs, and private collections. Our restoration services are available across Abu Dhabi, Dubai and the wider UAE – as well as to clients located around the world.

The oldest ship we have restored was 400 years old.

If you have a model cruise ship, yacht, tanker, warship or other vessel that requires rotation, rest assured we will work with rigorous attention to detail in order to get your ship looking like new once more.

Staying true to the original design

During the rotation process, we aim to keep as much of the original vesel intact as we can, harnessing the same techniques used by the original builder.

We are passionate about ensuring your restored model meets and exceeds your expectations.

Rebranding & refitting of model ships

We offer a full rebranding and refitting service – which could mean adding new decals to models ships in order to reflect new logos/colour schemes, or modifying the ship to reflect new features.

We commissioned Premier Ship Models to deliver six museum quality models for the opening of the National Museum of Qatar in Doha. The scope of work was: Research and sourcing / preparing the info and drawings to make the models Project Management Design and development of the models Client visits during the model builds Delivery and installation in Doha The main challenges were the tight timeframe with a fixed deadline to coincide with the museum opening, and change request during the model build relating to materials to be used for the models. We were pleased with the quality of the models and our working relationship / communication with Premier Ship Models, and look forward to working together on future projects.
