ARCHITECTURAL MODELS

We have continued to grow our service offering to meet the requirements of our customers. Through developing the technology in our workshop to include 3D Printing, Laser and CNC machinery we are able to build Architectural Models.

We use this technology to create each section of the structure and then assemble it to finish the scale model, which is a physical representation of a structure, building, arrangement of buildings, cities, apartment blocks etc.

Architectural models are used to help architects demonstrate a design concept to their clients before the project progresses to the next stage. We work in partnership with an architect alongside our model team to create the scale models. Similar to our custom model build process, we carry out QC at various stages to ensure a high quality finished product.

We commissioned Premier Ship Models to deliver six museum quality models for the opening of the National Museum of Qatar in Doha. The scope of work was: Research and sourcing / preparing the info and drawings to make the models Project Management Design and development of the models Client visits during the model builds Delivery and installation in Doha The main challenges were the tight timeframe with a fixed deadline to coincide with the museum opening, and change request during the model build relating to materials to be used for the models. We were pleased with the quality of the models and our working relationship / communication with Premier Ship Models, and look forward to working together on future projects.
